Following a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Defense Health Information Technology Symposium (DHITS) returned to Orlando, FL last week. IntelliDyne was pleased to be once again tapped by the Defense Health Agency (DHA) to provide onsite IT support throughout the duration of the event to ensure connectivity and continuity of DHA operations while leadership worked in a remote capacity.
This year’s symposium focused on the enhanced delivery of IT services. As the Military Health System (MHS) continues its transformation through the latest enterprise consolidation under the Multi-Sourcing Integration (MSI) model, the organization is concentrating on optimization. This will transcend business operations, medical readiness, and healthcare delivery with a culture of cost savings. For the MHS, the notion of optimization involves:
Effectiveness: The key to achieving efficiencies is understanding resources and applying them appropriately. Integrating IT services with flexibility and adaptability will enable modernization of enterprise-wide processes as DHA assumes oversight of the Military Treatment Facilities.
Efficiency: Reducing redundancies to standardize and centralize service offerings. By decreasing complexity in the delivery of IT services, the agency can perform as one team and streamline their support of DHA’s medical mission.
Utilization: Assigning the right teams to achieve clear goals in support of the collective mission. The consolidation of services and alignment of priorities will enable program performance at the lowest possible cost
The MHS continues to rely on trusted partners like IntelliDyne to ensure the success of their technology evolution. Contact us to learn how we can help transform your organization at: solutions@intellidyne-llc.com
