Over the course of the last year, COVID-19 has impacted individuals, families, and communities in devastating ways. While many of the effects of the pandemic are out of our control, IntelliDyne is excited to join forces with CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield by signing the CareFirst COVID-19 Vaccine Pledge.
The pledge, which is part of a larger campaign ‘Better Together,’ seeks to educate people about the importance of taking the COVID-19 vaccine once they are eligible in order to achieve targeted vaccination rates that will help to end the pandemic. CareFirst will donate $1,000 for every organization that signs the pledge. Donations are expected to reach as much as $1.7M and will be distributed to community organizations helping with vaccination efforts.
IntelliDyne’s first priority as an organization has always been the health, safety, and welfare of our people. While employees are not required to be vaccinated in order to return to the workplace, we are strongly encouraging vaccinations as soon as our employees are eligible and able.
“It can be hard to see the important role each of us plays in supporting public health. While we will continue to encourage behaviors like wearing a mask, washing hands, and physical distancing, IntelliDyne’s leadership team and I are asking our employees to take the next and most important step to protect each other and our communities by getting vaccinated,” said Founder and CEO, Robert Grey.
