What about your job makes you jump out of bed each morning?
For me, this isn’t just a job, it truly is a calling. However, even though I love what I do, it would be impossible to do it well if I didn’t also really like everyone that I work with. We are very much a big community and even on the “hard” or “bad” days, it is the people that I work with that help to make it fun.
What influenced or drove you to become an expert in your field?
An overwhelming desire to help people find meaningful work and realize their full potential with an organization that will value their unique contributions.
What was your dream job growing up?
Well… I really wanted to be an attorney. I thought I would become a high-power defense attorney.
How has your career progressed here at IntelliDyne?
I started as a temporary IT Recruiter with a projected project completion of 4 months. I was quickly hired permanently as Lead Technical Recruiter and within a year promoted to Director of Recruiting.
How have you taken ownership of advancing your career at IntelliDyne?
I am a member of RecruitDC, SHRM, Blue Star Families and the Hiring Our Heroes Military Spouse Professional Network. In addition to becoming a mentor to Military Spouses via the American Corporate Partners mentorship program, I’ve recently completed the Abilities@Work and Vets@work Certification programs.
What are 3 words you’d use to describe IntelliDyne?
Committed, Purposeful, and Engaged.
Which one of our corporate values is the most meaningful to you?
Integrity. Not only is it a value that we have as a corporation, but it is also an attribute of so many of my colleagues here at IntelliDyne. It is not always easy to do the right thing, in fact, most often it is down-right the hardest thing we can do! But living with integrity is celebrated here.
What is one unique or fun fact that others may not know about you?
Fun Fact: I have recently become obsessed with “Paint by Numbers” for adults. I call it my pandemic-passion.
