IntelliDyne, LLC, a leading public sector IT and advisory consulting firm, announced today that it is on a winning team of the CIO SP3 Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). The contract was awarded to Hygeia Solutions Partners (Hygeia), a joint venture of four healthcare and IT services firms, of which IntelliDyne is the managing member.

The contract, which is managed by the National Institute of Health IT Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC), provides a vehicle for federal agencies and state and local governments to easily procure services and solutions in ten task areas including IT services for biomedical research and healthcare, CIO support, imaging, outsourcing, IT operations and maintenance, integration services, critical infrastructure protection & information assurance, digital government, enterprise management systems, and software development.

“For over a decade, IntelliDyne has successfully provided technology solutions to the Military Health System supporting over 9 million beneficiaries of Tricare. We understand the complex missions of those agencies who provide healthcare related services to citizens, and the need to meet increased demand with limited resources,” commented IntelliDyne CEO Stephen Alfieris. “Through innovative technology and management best practices IntelliDyne has been able to meet this demand. Now, with the CIO SP3 contract, we, along with our Hygeia partners, are excited to provide greater access to technically innovative solutions that will empower those in healthcare to do more with less.”

Hygeia is a joint venture company dedicated to supporting the CIO SP3 contract. Through the member companies, Hygeia provides clients with industry best-practice frameworks in management, quality, and delivery to include CMMI Level 3 certified processes; ISO 9001:2008 certified quality management systems; ITIL operations management methodology; Agile development methodology, and project management best practices as defined by PMI’s Project Management Book of Knowledge. The Hygeia Solutions Partners team includes IntelliDyne, Govplace, ERT, and Ariadne Genomics. Together they are uniquely positioned to respond to technology and biomedical research requirements for government agencies in healthcare.

Agencies can begin issuing task orders on June 1, 2012. The CIO SP3 GWAC has a period of performance of 10 years and a ceiling of $20 billion.
